Red Route - First bus at 9.00am. The last full tour is 5.00pm. The buses run every 20-30 minutes and the full tour duration is 1.5 hours.
Our red route's 25 conveniently positioned hop-on/hop-off stops are set up to cover all the key Dublin City landmarks and attractions. Stay on the bus and listen to live or recorded commentary in eight different languages, or get off and explore each stop. Our experienced local guides will make sure to show you all the must-see sights and undiscovered gems along the trip. Explore ancient Trinity College and the Book of Kells by getting off at Nassau Street, or head outside to Phoenix Park, one of the biggest city-based public parks in the world!

The guided Yellow Umbrella Walking Tour departs from the Spire on O'Connell Street at 11.00am daily. The tour duration is around 2 hours.
Panoramic Night Tour (included with the Essential and Explore ticket options)
Experience a panoramic journey as Dublin's city lights brighten the area. This 1 hour night tour ticket provides a comprehensive overview of Dublin along with a distinctive route, historical nighttime tales of the city's greatest attractions and notable individuals, including Temple Bar, Docklands and The Brazen Head, the city's oldest bar, with tales of James Joyce, Oscar Wild or Bono. Regardless of whether you're travelling alone, with family, or with someone important, it's the ideal way to spend the evening in Dublin.
Tour departs at 7.00pm & 8.30pm each evening from 13 Upper O'Connell Street ( stop 1).
Coastal Tour (included with the Explore ticket option)
Take a break away from the busy Dublin streets with this scenic half-day tour to Howth Summit and the famous fishing village. Enjoy breathtaking views with a guided walk on the cliffs of Howth and why not enjoy some of the best seafood and fish and chips Dublin has to offer (own expense). This leisurely excursion is the perfect way to enjoy a few hours out of the city.
The Coastal Tour departs at 2.00pm from 13 Upper O'Connell Street ( stop 1). The duration time is around 4 hours (60 minutes in Howth, 60-minute walking tour, 75 minutes free time and 60 minutes back to Dublin).

- You will be sent a gate-ready Big Bus Ticket. Simply print it in advance or present it on your smart phone for boarding.
- Please note: routes and operation times may vary during the holiday season. Please check locally.
- Please note buses do not operate 20th – 26th December and 17th March each year due to St Patrick’s Day.
- Your tickets can be redeemed from your bus driver or a member of staff at any of the stops. Recommended stops stop 1 – 13 Upper O’Connell Street, Stop 6 – St Stephen’s Green, Stop 7 – College Green and Stop 24 – BIG BUS SHOP Bachelor’s Walk. Customers with a Paper voucher should go to Stop 1 or 24 to redeem their vouchers.
- One child under 15 years old travels for free with every paying adult.
- Panoramic Night Tour - The tour departs at 7.00pm & 8.30pm each evening from 13 Upper O'Connell Street ( stop 1). Please arrive in advance of the tour time to secure your seat.
- Coastal Tour - The tour departs at 2.00pm from 13 Upper O'Connell Street ( stop 1). Please at least 15 minutes before the tour departs.
- On rare occasions, Big Bus may need to temporarily suspend all service in the instance of very poor weather or for unplanned city events. Big Bus will do our best to notify customers of any service amendments or suspensions via their free app.
