Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay returns in full force, taking over the entire park with haunted houses, scare zones, sinister shows and much more! The screaming starts on 6 September 2024 and runs until 2 November.

- Haunted Houses - Dark minds have been brewing new ways to terrify those brave enough to enter our sinister haunted houses with new unsuspecting scares.
- Scare Zones & Unpredictable Hordes - The scares are everywhere as new terrors lurk in every corner of the park. Experience screams and frights at any moment as you make your way through several scare zones. Plus, with roaming hordes, the horror awaits at every twist and turn.
- Sinister Shows - Don't miss our spirited productions that are said to be "worth dying for". The raunchy monster dance party, Fiends will return to its outdoor venue for more devilish antics from Dr. Freakenstein and his gang of ghouls. Plus, all-new event entertainment comes to life during this year's event.

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay starts at 7.00pm each event night. From this time, you will be free to explore the haunted houses, scare zones and shows on offer throughout the park, plus enjoy the unique chance to ride the coasters in the dark. Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay ends at 12.00am Sunday to Thursday and 1.00am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream Ticket Options
Both Howl-O-Scream ticket options are valid for a single Howl-O-Scream event night at Busch Gardens. Tickets are open-dated for increased flexibility and you do not have to select your chosen event date in advance.
- Single Event Any Night Tickets can be used once on your choice of any event night
- Single Event Sunday to Friday Tickets are valid for one use at your choice of a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday event night
Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream Tickets can be used on one of the following 2024 event dates for a night of fully immersive fear:
- September: 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28, 29
- October: 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31
- November: 1, 2.

- Howl-O-Scream Tickets are open-dated and guests do not have to select their chosen event date in advance.
- Single Event Any Night Tickets are valid for one use at your choice of any event night
- Single Event Sunday to Friday Tickets are valid for one use at your choice of a Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday event night only; tickets cannot be used 7, 14, 21 or 28 September 2024; 5, 12, 19, 26 October 2024; 2 November 2, 2024.
- The Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream event starts at 7.00pm and closes at midnight (1.00am on Fridays and Saturdays). Event hours are subject to change without notice. Guests with a valid Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream ticket can enter the park from 5.00pm. Event hours and dates are subject to change without notice. Please check in advance of your visit.
- Tickets are valid only during normal event operating hours.
- Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens occurs rain or shine. No rain checks, returns or refunds due to inclement weather.
- The Howl-O-Scream event at Busch Gardens is geared towards an adult audience due to the nature of the scare zones and haunted houses. This event contains intense adult content such as violence, gore, and blood. While this event is intended for adults only, children under 18 will be admitted to the event at their parents’ discretion. There is no discounted rate for children.
- Costumes are not permitted and guests wearing costumes will be refused entry.
- All Day Dining is not valid during Howl-O-Scream events.
- Event dates and details are subject to change and/ or cancellation without prior notice. Images used may not reflect this year’s event.
- Attractions and entertainment may close or be unavailable due to capacity or inclement weather and benefits are subject to change without notice.
