RADIO STATION
Join some of our legendary country stars as you step into 1950’s era WSM radio station. From the early 1920’s –1950’s, before television existed, people gathered around their radios every evening to tune in to their favourite broadcast programs. One of those programs was the long running, Grand Old Opry which was broadcast on WSM 650AM. Step back in time and join some of our legendary country stars as you immerse yourself into a mid-century era radio station. Joining us on air today on WSM 650 are some of the favourites, Patsy Cline, George Jones, Hank Williams and Little Jimmy Dickens.
OPRY STAGE
On March 15, 1974, the Opry made its last broadcast from Ryman Auditorium before moving to its new custom-built home at the current Opry House.
