San Gimignano, Siena, Monteriggioni, Chianti: Guided Day Trip with Wine Tasting & Lunch

Your memorable journey begins in the enchanting hilltop town of San Gimignano, famous for its preserved medieval towers, vibrant frescoes, and invaluable works of art. Here, the tour leader will guide you to the historic center, where you’ll have about two hours of free time to explore at your own pace.

A short drive brings you to the charming medieval hamlet of Monteriggioni*, a small village enclosed by its iconic, well-preserved walls. Enjoy some free time to wander through this historic gem.

Next, travel through the scenic Chianti hills to a welcoming winery, where you can unwind and experience the rich flavors of the region. Savour a tasting of three exceptional Chianti wines and a traditional, three-course Chianti-style lunch featuring locally sourced ingredients, finishing with "cantucci e vin santo."

Finally, continue to Siena, where three hours of free time allow you to soak up the unique ambiance of this captivating city before returning to Florence in the evening.
