This tour is ideal for families and small groups and is led by a personal guide who will commandeer the iconic Jeep and adjust the pace according to the group's preferences. The tour lasts for 2 hours and takes place in an open-top, convertible Jeep, offering a chance to see the city's sparkling sights on a schedule that aligns with the group's itinerary. A stop at the famous Golden Gate Bridge is included. The open-air Jeeps can accommodate up to 6 guests, with recommended seating for up to 4 adults and 2 children/teens in the 3rd-row seating.
The tour covers most of the city's waterfront highlights and both the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge. Customize the experience with a choice of ride down Lombard Street (depending on traffic), jaunt through Union Square, climb to Nob Hill, or cruise through Chinatown.
The tour starts off with a visit to Fisherman's Wharf, a historic and popular neighborhood known for its Dungeness crab stands and picturesque fishing harbors. From there, the tour continues to Marina Green where guests will be able to enjoy views of Alcatraz Island and San Francisco Bay. The tour then takes you to Crissy Field where you will get to see the Golden Gate Bridge up close.
Some other iconic sites that are included in the route are The Palace of Fine Arts, the Transamerica Pyramid, the Embarcadero Center, and Financial District, the Ferry Building and Embarcadero, Exploratorium and Cruise Ship Terminal, North Beach Little Italy and Washington Square Park, Coit Tower and Telegraph Hill, Pier 39 and Ferry Arch at Pier 41, Maritime Park and Historic Ships at Hyde Street Pier.
This tour provides a comprehensive and in-depth look at San Francisco's famous landmarks and neighborhoods. Guests will have the opportunity to visit many of the city's famous sights and learn about the history and culture of the areas they visit. The tour itinerary can be customized to include additional stops or extended for more time (additional cost) to ensure that guests have a fulfilling experience.
Upgrade: Add an hour for 3 hours of fun
The three-hour tour adds four or five more locations or a quick meal stop. Additional stops can include the Bay Bridge light show, views from Twin Peaks, a stunning night view from Coit Tower /Telegraph Hill or an additional stop at the Golden Gate Bridge.
