Animal Kingdom kicks off the day with a character-laden musical celebration, so we recommend arriving 20 minutes prior to the park opening to catch it.

Try saving the rides you know are the most popular for the late afternoon when the queues are often shorter.

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks are a fantastic end to your day. To ensure a great view, arrive at the water at least an hour before the show begins (9pm) – it gets pretty crowded!

If you’re planning to visit a buffet, try to go at about 3.30pm. Not only is it quieter but there will be more variety – they will often be putting out all the food for the evening menus which start at 4pm each day. That way you pay the lunch price but get the evening menu!

If you want to get wet, sit on the left side of the tram on Catastrophe Canyon!

If you want to enjoy alcoholic beverages at the park bring some ID to prove you are over 21.

If you want a story to impress your friends back home, taste the fried alligator tail on the menu at Pearl’s Smokehouse. It’s in a rustic, covered picnic area in Gatorland

If you want a lively and delicious breakfast, The Kusafiri Coffee Shop located inside the Tusker House Restaurant is excellent.

If you love coasters but the rest of your group don’t, there are single rider’s queues so that you can get on and off quickly to rejoin your group.
