When buying alcohol, proof of age is essential – and bartenders will ask for ID from anyone who looks under 35.

Bring a waterproof camera to capture great action shots of the kids in the Shamu Splash Zone or at Shamu’s Happy Harbor kiddie splash area. But avoid the Splash Zone unless you want to get absolutely soaked!

Head to Miniland towards dusk where you will see the whole area lit up with thousands of lights. The Las Vegas strip and New York’s Times Square are spectacular.

Book your holiday or hotel early so you get the dates you want at the price you want.

There’s a limit to the number of visitors allowed at Discovery Cove each day, so we recommend that you book at least three months in advance to avoid disappointment.

Going to the Pirates Dinner Adventure? Arrive at least an hour before the show starts to enjoy the pre-show appetizers and pre-show entertainment.

Think you’ve seen it all? Get behind the scenes and up-close with a selection of amazing tours, such as the Serengeti Safari, where you can feed a giraffe and learn about the other animals on the Serengeti Plain.

Consider visiting one of the smaller parks first and work your way up to the bigger ones- this means each day will get more exciting!
