Situated about thirty miles north-east of Adelaide, the world-renowned Barossa Valley is Australia's premier wine-growing region, home to household labels such as Wolf Blass Wines and Jacobs Creek. A wonderful blend of pretty Bavarian Villages, Italianate Chateaux and enchanting scenery, the area retains a distinctly European flavour and offers a wonderful contrast to the hustle and bustle of Adelaide.
At 9:15am join your coach to commence a full day Grand Barossa with Hahndorf tour. Travel through North Adelaide and view the grand and histortic homesteads, then travel through the Adelaide plains.
Approach the Barossa Valley through the Seppeltfield Estate, where you will enjoy wine tasting at this historic winery which offers Ports dating back 100 years and more. Next visit Wolf Blass, take a guided tour of their wine centre and taste their Gold Label and award winning Black Label wines, then enjoy a delicious lunch with an exclusive tasting of Penfolds wines.
Travel through the Adelaide Hills dotted with quaint villages to Hahndorf, Australia's oldest German settlement. Enjoy free time to walk and browse along the Elmlined lined main street, see quaint cottages, inns, craft shops and galleries. Return to Adelaide via the delightful village of Bridgewater.
Tour concludes at approximately 5:15pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.
