Murray Riverboat Cruise with Lunch

After a pick-up from centrally located Adelaide hotels, head by coach to the town of Mannum, travelling through rolling hills and Mallee outback to the mighty Murray River bringing watered life to a thirsty land - a land now rich in green vineyards, golden citrus orchards and prosperous rural communities.

Mannum is the birthplace of the River Murray paddle steamers and the Murray River gateway to the harsh empty inland of Australia, still reeking with a historic past - the days of the riverboat men toiling up river in the blazing sun.

Cruise the wide waters of the Murray on board Proud Mary to view the stark cliffs and River Red Gums of the area, and to spot local birdlife. Lunch is served on board the riverboat. Return to Adelaide via the green Adelaide Hills.
