Before embarking on your stargazing adventure, you'll journey through a significant portion of the National Park, and the landscape's transformation as you ascend is truly astonishing. In just one to two hours, you'll feel like you've crossed multiple continents. Depending on your chosen route, you'll explore rural expanses, lush laurel forests, and serene pine woodlands.
Throughout your adventure, you'll encounter rounded volcanic cones cloaked in pumice, others covered in charcoal and ash, some bearing hues of black or red due to oxidation, lava tongues hanging from the volcano slopes, and scattered colossal stone blocks, some revealing traces of glistening obsidian. Touring Las Cañadas before your celestial exploration is akin to a geological time travel spanning over 180,000 years in one of Earth's most extraordinary volcanic landscapes. Should you be lucky enough to experience a full moon, you'll be treated to a remarkable lunar vista.

- Children under 8 are cannot participate in the Mount Teide by night trip. Proof of age is required.
