This tour route brings together all that San Diego has to offer in a compact adventure that includes Balboa Park, Petco Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village and the world famous San Diego Zoo!

Maps and tour guides are not needed for this fun tour in your own GPS guided car. Your GoCar will take you on a journey through San Diego’s Downtown area, telling you where to turn and providing tour narration throughout. See beautiful Balboa Park which is littered with Spanish Renaissance inspired architecture, over a dozen museums, colourful flower gardens and a world renowned outdoor organ pavilion. Pass by Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres and see Downtown San Diego at its finest, from the Maritime Museum to the Historic Gaslamp Quarter. Also see the Seaport Village, and San Diego Zoo. The GoCar is easy to drive and with the GPS navigation system, it’s impossible to get lost as the car knows where it is even if you don’t! With GoCar, you will venture into parts of San Diego that tour buses cannot go and you will have an experience like no other!

Departure Location:

Collect your GoCar from 2100 Kettner Blvd in the heart of Little Italy.

Start Times:

Any time between 9.00 and 4.00pm. Please detail your preferred start time when booking.

Duration:

Up to 2 hours. The tour itinerary is a sample itinerary - you have the choice of following the itinerary exactly or choosing your own route over the course of 2 hours. Renters are free to extend the length of their rental on the day of tour. Additional rental time will be charged at standard rates.

Experience Includes

  • Self-driven tour of Downtown San Diego in a GPS guided car.

  • Tour narration in English.
  • Instruction briefing on how to drive the car and use of helmet.

Experience Excludes

  • Hotel pick-up and drop off.
  • Refreshments.

Terms & Conditions

  • Prices are per GoCar NOT per person and carry up to 2 persons. Simply select the number of GoCars needed for your party.
  • The tour itinerary is a sample itinerary - you have the choice of following the itinerary exactly or choosing your own route over the course of 2 hours. Renters are free to extend the length of their rental on the day of tour. Additional rental time will be charged at standard rates.
  • The price includes fuel and is quoted for the approximate tour duration - there is a a 15-minute grace period and the rates for subsequent hours are pro-rated into 15-minute increments.
  • All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid drivers license.
  • A $300 security deposit will be held on a credit card until the GoCar is returned. All riders must sign a standard participant agreement. Renters will have the option to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance on the day of rental.
  • Entrance to San Diego's attractions are not included.
