This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the top of a glacier. Mýrdalsjökull, Iceland's fourth largest glacier, covers the Katla volcano. To reach the glacier's base, we will take you up the mountain in a specialized glacier truck. Upon arrival, we'll switch to snowmobiles for an exhilarating ride across the ice cap, taking in the stunning glacier landscapes and views over South Iceland.

- Please note: The meeting point for this tour is at the Mýrdalsjökull Base Camp (Road 222)
- You will receive a voucher for this experience. Please read it thoroughly.
- You will be required to present a printed copy of your voucher at the time of tour departure.
- All drivers must be 17 years of age or older and have a full, valid driver's license. A learner's permit, tractor, or motorcycle license is not sufficient according to Icelandic law.
- Single riders and groups with odd numbers are required to book a single ride snowmobile.
- During Summer months, the tour can take longer in duration due to a higher snow line on the glacier.
- Due to sudden and unexpected weather changes the snowmobile ride might be cancelled after tour´s departure from Reykjavík.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: Free cancellations for bookings cancelled with the operator up to 72 hours before your chosen activity date. No refunds are given for cancellations made within 72 hours.
